About the Department
The Department of Sociology at Sophia College for Women constantly values innovation and experimentation in all its endeavours, inspiring and motivating its students to embrace diversity, intersectionality and a holistic understanding of social life. By extension, these values have translated into a democratic, independent and nurturing environment for students and their aspirations.
